For the Love of Horses

Growing up, I was always fascinated by horses ~ actually, I still have that same fascination. They are such beautiful, strong, graceful, and intelligent creatures, with personalities much like our own. I used to sit in my room and paint and draw nothing but horses! I have an entire collection of just horses that I've found and have been enhancing throughout the last few weeks. Since we're not in a house yet, but in a hotel, I can't scan many in, but I found this one that I had done a while back.

In honor of Barbaro, I will be doing a few of him in the coming weeks and posting them as I can ~ This magnificent, strong, fighter of a horse could have been an undefeated Champion ~ As it stands now, he left the races as one. Here's wishing him a full recovery!
