hooooty whooooo ...

so, the other night, i was at the neighbors house across the street. as i opened the front screen to head outside a HUGE owl flew right over my head and headed across the street to land in another neighbors tree. it was SO beautiful! i tried to get a pic of it, but, alas, my camera is on the sub-standard side of the spectrum when it comes to actually capturing images of quality. you can't even see the owl ~ but the pic is still pretty cool!
i guess inspired from the whole experience, i drew this owl last night ~ it was kind of a rush job since i'm trying to get to the point of drawing daily and actually finishing something i start in the same day ~ it's a challenge for me since i suffer from self-diagnosed ocd ~ not that there's anything wrong with that :)
