Something a little different

I've been working on some other creative things over the last month and haven't been painting as much. Made these crucifixion nails as a prop for one of my daughters dances scheduled in June - they are a whopping 12", so they can be recognized from the audience. They need a bit more details, and a clear coat before I can say they are complete but the process was VERY fun and therapeutic for me. I've never worked with paper mâché, plaster of paris or thin-set before, and this project made me want to work on more! Maybe later though . . .
