These both look terrific Alikins. Though the background in the digital painting adds pop! I also like the right facing compostion. Very nice! Which program are you using?
I agree about the kitty too. Takes me back to my teens when Kittens and Flowers were the rage. Still nicely done, but it was never suited my taste. :)
