~ Bird of Paradise ~

along with the dragon, and other mythical beasts, i love the phoenix.
she is the mysterious bird of fire ~ a legend that has long captured many imaginations ~ but perhaps it is merely the bird of paradise flying across the sun at just the right angle causing it's long light feathers to appear "on fire" ~ none the less, it's a beautiful bird, still full of enough mystery to make me long to see it in person . . .

so here's my interpretation of the mysterious bird ~ drawn in prisma color. I rushed through it a little bit, so i'm also going to play around with it in photoshop to see if i can give it a more mysterious feel . . . wish me luck! ;)
