holy cow! where have i been???

sheesh!
i seem to be posting once a month these days and i'm not liking it one bit! honestly, i have been really busy with, well, you know, house stuff.
yeah, i know, borrrrrrrrrring! ;)
i'm getting more and more caught up though, and pending any more unexpected detours along the way, i will have a LOT of my projects posted soon!
i have many many requests for paintings, and i've been doing some interior design work on my sister in law's brand new enormous mountain home [now THAT's what i call FUN!] ~ you should see it! well, you will, and it will be chock full of my designs and paintings!
i'm also working on a HUGE painting for my nephews house, and i have four more requests for other paintings along with a few murals.
whew! as i write it all down it seems overwhelming!
but it's a FUN overwhelming :)

she's been wanting a jewelry box, but we had a hard time finding one that we liked

soooo, i happened upon this fella, painted her up real girlie like and walla!
here she blows:



i also found this adorable antique doll cradle for her but it needs to be rebuilt, and repainted. i'm halfway there with the painting and i've already got the rocking part glueing. i tried to stay true to the original applique that was on one side, it's very different in my eyes though, but, it will certainly work for her dollies :)
