Here is the completed version of my sketchbook that has already been shipped and received by the Brooklyn Art Library! I'm excited to be a part of this project and that I completed a book!! YAY! James had a hard time with me sending it off - he wanted to keep it. He's my biggest fan :) I love him.
So, I rebound it - and I was not completely satisfied with the outcome because I'm a perfectionist (but working on that crazy trait!) and the stitches came out uneven - but since it was my first time rebinding something, I cut myself some slack, looked the other way, and accepted the imperfection.
I actually do miss the book - and I wanted to share it at church before I sent it off, but, as I told my husband, I can make another one! I have pleeeeeeeenty of blank books to create in, and I can't wait to get started in them all! I am hoping this finished project touches the lives of many people who read it and enjoy the art in it. I know it has inspired me to begin new projects and better yet, to complete them!
Here's to many more completed projects! YAY!
